Chengdu Aidi Eye Hospital is an international large-scale ophthalmic hospital, located in prosperous 2nd Ring Road West which is nicknamed as ‘Xi Gui (noble west)’, adjacent to the beautiful Du Fu's Thatched Cottage, with elegantnvironment, convenient transportation, and sufficient parking space. The floorage of Phase I occupies an area of over 6,000m2 (outpatient and inpatient departments) including 2,000m2 greening area, while the Phase II enjoys a total area of 5,800m2 (inpatient department). The total investment is RMB 150 million with 200 planned beds available. Consisting of more than 160 doctors, technicians, and nurses, Aidi draws large quantities of domestic and abroad professional and excellent talents in ophthalmic technology and management, such as hospital director Professor Hu Yuzhang, a leader in vitreoretinal operation in southwest China called as ‘the No. 1 Ocular Fundus Surgeon’ of China West Hospital, and 27 senior ophthalmologists including doctor and master tutors. Medical care personnel of subspecialties are mainly composed of professors and postgraduates from West China School Medicine of Sichuan University, Chongqing Medical University, and Chengdu Medical College.
