The Retina & Vitreous Department is a key specialty of Aidi Eye Hospital. The Department is led by Professor Hu Yuzhang, a top expert in retina & vitreous, and the founder of Pars Plana Vitrectomy of West China Hospital, Sichuan University. This Department is equipped with many international advanced instruments, such as American Alcon Constellation (constellation vitrectomy vision system), American intelligence 532 nanometer laser photocoagulation of etina & vitreous, Topcon Optovue OCT scanner, Topcon slit lamp corneal microscope, Topcon FFA system, Topcon Non-Mydriatic Camera, and American Fourier OCT scanner. With these instruments, the Department is capable in performing various vitreous surgeries.
